AMERI/CAN

Hello from Prince Edward County and Happy (early) Canada Day to all my Canadian readers! Taking advantage of the long weekend, Justine and I hit the road, stopping in Ottawa on Saturday and now spending a couple days in Prince Edward County. More on our road trip to come, but in the meantime I want to share a super cool launch happening this week!

From the brains of digital design firm OneMethod (the guys behind pop-up-turned-restaurant La Carnita) are launching a new streetwear label called ONEMETH. The first collection is aptly named “The Free Trade Collection”, celebrating the relationship between Canada and the US. It’s all about free exchange, inspired by food, culture and ideas that transcend country and city border lines. Having been born and raised in Vancouver, lived in New York and now in Toronto, this collection certainly speaks to me. I was lucky to get my hands on their “Ameri/Can” T-shirt early – it’s a mix of American and Canadian flags, as you can see!

If you’re itching to get ahold of a ONEMETH piece of your own, OneMethod is hosting a pop-up shop in their “MethLab” this week in Toronto. Plus, on July 4th, they’re launching their online store at onemeth.com!

Pop-up shop hours:

Wednesday, July 2nd from 5pm – 9pm
Thursday, July 3rd from 5pm – 9pm
Friday, July 4th from 12pm – 9pm

The MethLab
445 King St. West, Suite 201
Toronto, ON
