*I wore the Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #AstronElite. All opinions are my own.
City life is always on-the-go, with things to do, places to be and people to see. There’s always something happening downtown Toronto and since moving to this vibrant city, I’ve certainly enjoyed the pace.
While the on-the-go lifestyle is fun and exciting, it can also be challenging to keep up. So apart from having a sartorial affection for watches, I also wear one every day to keep me on time (or at least try to be on time!). Seiko recently sent me their new Astron GPS Solar watch and I have to say, it’s perfect for a busy guy.
For starters, the watch never needs to be charged. Powered by all types of light, this watch is completely self-sustaining. You’ll never have to worry about changing a battery again! It also keeps time to Atomic Clock precision. Once a day, when fully charged, the Seiko Astron checks the correct time automatically, connecting to four or more satellites that orbit the earth, which pinpoints its position and identifies your time zone and the exact time. How cool is that?!
For a watch that holds all of those capabilities, the Seiko Astron is actually very light, so it won’t slow you down. The size is moderate and I particularly love the matching blue bezel and face of my watch. Inspired by the colors of my Seiko Astron, I put together this look. See all of the photos below!
