Can you believe it’s already November? This year is seriously flying by…
The autumn colors have been out in full force in Toronto over the past couple weeks and I’ve been dying to snap some photos before all the leaves fall. Fortunately, I was in luck yesterday and found myself in an autumnal wonderland at Queen’s Park. Amber colored leaves covered the ground, with some to spare still hanging on in the trees. Having grown up on the West Coast, I’ve always been quite enchanted by the changing colors of the trees on the East Coast. This year has been especially beautiful and the fall colors seem to be lasting a longer time than last year too. Hopefully that’s a sign that we’ll have a milder winter? Fingers crossed.
This look was all about comfort and warmth, starting with a cozy, waffle knit sweater and distressed jeans. This Mackage coat has been my go-to recently and I’ve been wearing it non-stop on days when I’m not shooting a new outfit, being the photographer for Justine’s shoots and walking our dog, Sofia. It’s the perfect weight for this time of year, with a thin down layer under the waxed cotton exterior. Not to mention, the military green color and style. To dress the look up a bit, I brought my new boots out for their first wear. And I can definitely tell this will be the first of many more wears in the coming months!
What I’m wearing: Mackage coat // COS sweater (similar here) // Mavi jeans (on sale now!) // ALDO boots // Ray-Ban sunglasses // Bulova watch // Hermès bracelet (similar here)

Thanks so much!
This jacket is perfection and those Aldo boots are pretty great too! If Geoff hadn’t just bought three pairs of shoes, I’d tell him to get on these.
