Code Red!… because it is just too cold outside. I’m wearing two jackets. TWO jackets! What is this?!
During last year’s Polar Vortex, the double jacket/coat trend emerged. I embraced it then and I’ve brought it back for a second go around. Aside from the practicality of twice the warmth, I actually quite like the look of layering jackets and coats. Also resurrected are these red jeans that I bought a few years ago, when the colored jean/pant trend first emerged. Red was the first on the scene and I remember that I had to have a pair. Does anyone else have a similar memory?
Anyway, I’m going to keep this post short, because I have lots of outfit planning and packing to do for New York Fashion Week! Flying down on Wednesday and hitting the ground running. Until my next post, keep up with me on Instagram and Twitter :)
What I’m wearing:

Topman moto jacket
