On one of the first “real winter” days, my girlfriend and I braved the frigid air to snap each other in our outfits of the day (she also has a style blog!). As I mentioned in my Grand Street post, during my recent trip to New York, I picked up a new winter coat from Opening Ceremony. I first set eyes on this piece back in September, but at the time it was still sweltering hot out and I thought it was best to think about this major winter purchase for a bit before taking the plunge. Well, two months later of dreaming about the aubergine coat and here it is, on my back. What do you think?
