This shoot is all about Fendi monsters! I recently welcomed a Fendi backpack and shoes to my wardrobe and I’ve been waiting for nice weather to take them out for their first wear. Justine also added a pair of Fendi monster heels to her closet, so we thought it would be fun to shoot our Fendi pieces together with our friend Marcus. Only fitting, as he is a huge luxury fashion fan and also happens to be quite skilled with a camera, among many other talents. (Justine and I like to refer to him as the Karl Lagerfeld of Toronto).

My look began with my Fendi monster slip-on shoes and backpack. I kept things simple with a white T-shirt and olive green, skinny jeans. And to coordinate with the shoes, I brought this navy Burberry Prorsum trench coat out from hiding. I haven’t worn it in so long, but it’s a definite classic, wardrobe staple.

As for accessories, I figured I’d continue on the luxury theme and brought out another piece from what I like to call “the archives”; these Gucci sunglasses that I hunted down back in 2009. The Gucci brand is totally having a comeback, so I figured, so could these sunglasses. On my wrist, a few go-to Hermès favorites and a Coach watch.
