Justine and I recently had the opportunity to shoot in film (yes, real old school film!) with our friend and photographer, Mauricio Calero. We love Mauricio’s aesthetic and we’ve had the pleasure of working with him quite a few times on a variety of projects. Lately, he has been exploring traditional film photography, which we go to take part in, with his vintage Rolleiflex camera. The camera takes photos in a 1×1 square aspect ratio and produces photos with a vintage coloring. Basically everything we try to achieve with Instagram and VSCO filters, except this is the real deal. The root of the look and all the modern day filters that make new photos look old.
Check out some of the results from our shoot below and see the full roll of film on Mauricio’s site here.
I’m not soo much into technology or photography, but both your outfit choice are great, talk about one dapper couple!

Thank you!
I have a local friend that loves to shoot in film as well, it’s always fun to team up on projects that put outside our norms! The photos look great.

Thanks! And yes, so true RE collaborating outside the norm.
Loving your coat, especially the fur on it. Your whole look is really cohesive. It seems like you and Justine had so much fun with this project and I am so glad.
