I love the way a hat can complete a look. I don’t wear hats very often, so I thought I’d put together a look starting with a hat. This wide brim fedora from Brimz is one of my favorite hats. It’s luxurious and classic with a modern twist. Plus, it’s made right here in Canada.

The outfit took on a dark, Western vibe. Light down jacket with leather shoulders, black, diaphanous scarf and my go-to chelsea boots. Oh and ripped jeans, of course! Initially, I wanted to drape the scarf in a poncho-like way, but the wind had other plans. I love the look of fabric billowing in the breeze though and it created some great movement shots.
