And just like that, with the blink of an eye, Toronto Fashion Week has come and passed. It was an amazing week of fashion and style! Even despite the uncooperative weather. It was certainly a challenge getting dressed every day. Check out all of my looks from the week, photographed by Daniel Kim of Walking Canucks below!
On Day 1, I did a double jacket look. Taking advantage of the sunny, dry day, I also felt it appropriate to break in my new leopard pony hair chukka kicks from Axel Arigato.
Here with my buddy and menswear influencer, Lance Chung. If you haven’t checked out his work, you’re definitely missing out- mrlancechung.com.
What I wore on Day 1:
Topman camel coat
Tripp NYC jacket (similar here)
Gap T-shirt
gsus sindustries jeans
Axel Arigato sneakers
TOMS sunglasses
On Day 2, it was all about blue (didn’t mean to make that rhyme, ha!). Blue prints to be specific. Printed pants, scarf and striped portfolio case.
What I wore on Day 2:
Rudsak leather jacket
Le Chateau denim shirt
Zara pants
H&M scarf
Adidas Superstar sneakers
Coach portfolio case
TOMS sunglasses
Day 3 was a rainy one, so I decided to go casual and sporty. Starting with a Mackage jacket (which I wore purposefully for their show that day), I added a dash of “athleisure” and military to the look.
What I wore on Day 3:
Mackage jacket
Mesh jersey (similar here)
Nike “Tech Fleece” pants
Vintage Australian military shirt
Nike sneakers
Nella Bella bag
Goofing around with Justine outside the tents:
After a rainy Day 3, I got inspired by Burberry for Day 4, creating my look around a navy Burberry Prorsum trench!
What I wore on Day 4:
Burberry Prorsum trench coat
Frank & Oak sweater
J.Crew shirt
Gap khakis
New Balance sneakers
Nella Bella bag
For the final day of Toronto Fashion Week, I decided to try something new: overalls. They were a hit! I got lots of compliments on my look, as well as my friends telling me that I looked like any and all of the following: Toy Story’s Woody, a farmer, a little boy… Part way through the day, I even deemed this “J.Crew on the ranch”. What do you think??
What I wore on Day 5:
Forever 21 overalls
Frank & Oak shirt
J.Crew jacket
Jack Purcell Converse sneakers
Hermès cuff
TOMS sunglasses
Neckerchief

Hi Alex,
First comment! :)
I literally LOVE all your FW looks! It’s super fun and a lots of colors to beat the bad weather! I esp love that on the third day look, you and your gf were matching sporty looks together! <3 so cute!

Haha thanks so much love! Justine and I do have a lot of fun coordinating :)
I have/love those Zara pants, but I must say hats off to you for the overalls! It’s something I’ve been wanting to try for awhile, but have never found a pair that didn’t cost upwards of $100. May have to jock your style and give the F21 guys a go, sorry ;) BUT I do promise I won’t take a J Crew approach.
Best,
Josh – The Kentucky Gent
