Miami Open Weekend with Lacoste

Game. Set. Match!

This past weekend, I enjoyed a weekend of tennis in Miami with Lacoste and a small group of media from the US and Canada. We came together on Friday afternoon at the Gale South Beach – our home away from home for the weekend. That evening, we enjoyed a seaside dinner at The Standard. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic!

Saturday morning started bright and early, as we hit the courts for a special Lacoste tennis clinic at Turnberry Isle. Led by Lacoste Ambassador and former Number 1 player, Mats Wilander, the clinic had us running through drills and perfecting our swings. Time flew by and we all wanted to keep playing more! But alas, it was time for lunch and the beach was calling for the better part of the afternoon.

That night, we dined atop the Soho Beach House, under a gorgeous sunset and sea breeze. I wasn’t alone in saying I couldn’t get enough of the burrata and beet dish, although everything that descended on the table that evening was spot on. Following dinner, we moved to the rooftop pool deck to celebrate the launch of the Lacoste L!VE x Addict shoe collaboration, available now at Addict in Miami and in Canada at J2 stores in Richmond Centre and Metrotown Centre.

The Lacoste L!VE x Addict launch party brought out some of Miami’s finest and it was a perfect night to be outside!

It was another early morning on Sunday – this time to head down to Key Biscayne to catch a couple matches at the Miami Open. Lacoste had a beautiful suite setup at the stadium, from where our group got to enjoy two matches; one men’s and one women’s.

Needless to say, it was an amazing weekend with Lacoste! And now I can’t wait to get back on the courts this summer in Toronto!
