Meet The Neck Scarf

Earlier this week, I attended the opening party for the new J.Crew store at Pacific Centre in Vancouver. It was a typical, wet Vancouver day so my original thought of wearing white jeans was nixed. Instead, I opted for slim fit cargos and light denim jacket. For the first time ever, I tried out the neck scarf look, with a silk scarf from the generous folks at That’s Italy. It seemed to be a hit that evening – they say the neck scarf is the new bow tie. Great news to me, since I was never much a fan of bow ties on myself.

Time will tell, but in the meantime here’s my look, of course featuring one of my favorite oxford shirts from J.Crew!
