Last weekend, I met up with fellow blogger friends, Michael and Nathalie to brave the cold and shoot some outfit photos. Winter decided to return and we were faced with some chilly temperatures and snow-covered scenes. Looking at these photos now, I find the snow to actually be quite charming. However, don’t get me wrong- I really hope this is the last post that will include snow this season. I’m ready for spring!
This look was all about Americana and classic preppy style. I was feeling very Ralph Lauren/Tommy Hilfiger that day and thanks to Michael’s suggestion of shooting down in a lakeshore park, my outfit was blessed with this perfect setting. The lighthouse was especially great, adding a very complementary background.
These Gap patchwork jeans are making their debut on the blog in this post. New in my wardrobe, they’re quickly becoming a season favorite. I LOVE ripped jeans and I think patchwork will be the next big trend. But don’t get me wrong, I will still be wearing ripped jeans too! What do you think? Will you be wearing patchwork denim?
What I’m wearing: Topman coat // Gap jeans // J.Crew sweater // Tom Ford sunglasses // Timberland Adventure 2.0 boots // blanket scarf (similar at Zappos and Banana Republic)
