Leather weather is here! September has been absolutely beautiful in Toronto. The temperature has been on the warmer side for fall and we’ve had such perfect weather for transitioning into fall style. And when the weather is as pleasant as it has been, I’m certainly more likely to be out and about in the city too.

Most of the time, I choose to drive around town. I love driving and I also find it most convenient for running errands, picking up clothing for shoots, finding shoot locations etc… My go-to look for running around the city is most often a leather jacket, T-shirt, jeans and sneakers. Coordinating with my car (which is shiny black), I went for a black and white look here.

Black and white is always a reliable colorless combo. Somehow the look always ends up appearing chicer than if there was color involved. Especially effective in transition between seasons. This black and white outfit took on a biker vibe via jacket and jeans, with a retro-sport finish by way of adidas Gazelle sneakers from Town Shoes. These sneakers have been on heavy rotation in my wardrobe for the past 2 months. I love the return of this 1960’s classic and I’ve been seeing a lot of other stylish friends from around the world wearing them in their OOTD’s on Instagram.
