Last week, I spend a day with Cadillac to test drive their new 2015 Escalade. I was dying to the find out the real benefits of Cadillac Escalade, as they always look so impressive.
Starting off downtown Toronto, I paired up with fellow blogger Catriona of Coco&Cowe (we chose a beautiful white Escalade, naturally) to head north to Lake Simcoe. While the Escalade has a state of the art navigation system, we were given a special route to follow, using a map and old school directions, to which we had quite a hysterical time getting used to. Sadly, but probably for the better, it was not recorded.
I took the wheel for the first leg, bringing us up to The Briars, a lovely resort on Lake Simcoe. It was a beautiful drive and the Escalade was more than comfortable, with every technological luxury one could need. For more details on the Escalade, its features and drive, check out my review on KENTON magazine.
After our return downtown, we stopped briefly for lunch before heading over to the Honda Indy race track. We got to take an up close look at the action in the pit and feel the energy on the track before race day. The best part? Riding in the passenger seat next to pro racecar driver, Johnny O’Connell, as he whipped us around the indy track in a Cadillac CTS!
It was such a fun day, topped off with a fantastic rooftop party in Yorkville to celebrate the reveal of the 2015 Escalade!
