There’s always such an energy on Day 4 of Toronto Fashion Week. Following some of the week’s biggest shows on Wednesday night, there’s a refreshed desire to dress your best.
This season, I had the privilege of previewing the SOIA & KYO fall 2014 collection earlier in the week. The brand also dressed me in one of their fall 2014 men’s pieces for their runway show – this amazing red wool coat! Statement outerwear at its best. Bold, but not over the top; a piece that you can be worn in a variety of ways. But since it was fashion week, I decided to go big or go home, pairing the red coat with orange pants, a red scarf and red-orange reflective sunglasses.
I love the look of a color palette, limited to two analogous colors. Red and orange are definitely alarming together and on a cloudy day like this one, the color really pops. I’m giving winter the boot!
Justine and I, both dressed in SOIA & KYO fall 2014 red coats!
This look turned out to be a street style hit, featured in The Individualist, FASHION Magazine, BlogTO and Sharp Magazine‘s “Best Dressed Men at World MasterCard Fashion Week” by Mauricio Calero, Toronto Life‘s “Best of Fashion Week” and Flare Magazine‘s “Kings of #WMCFW” video by Max Kopanygin, which you can check out below!
