NYFW Day 5: Pink Punch

Following the crazy snow, wind and rain from Nemo, New York City saw some glorious sunshine and temperatures a fair bit above zero. Not quite on the warm side, but I felt the urge to transition into more of a spring look. Double layered T-shirts to stay warm, but went for a strong punch of color that would pop under navy.

In case you’re wondering, yes, I am wearing socks. Thanks to Stance Socks‘ Super Invisible socks, my feet were kept nice and warm – perfect for doing a “no socks” look in February! I also have to mention The Optical Boutique, who helped me pick out these fantastic sunglasses by Graz, which I’ve been wearing almost everyday this week. The folks at The Optical Boutique were extremely knowledgeable about eyewear and stressed comfort and fit above all else, in turn helping me find a pair of sunglasses that are comfortable, functional and unique with a fashion forward edge. I had so much fun shopping with them and definitely recommend visiting the store if you’re ever in Vancouver.
