Into the Freeze

It has been downright freezing in Toronto for a really long while now. In fact, I can’t even remember when the temperatures were above 0°C. However, not matter how cold it gets, time goes on and we’re are forced to come up with better, warmer, winter-chic outfits.

The key to chic survival amidst the polar temperatures is proper layering. And in the case of this look, the concealed layering of my Canada Goose down shirt. I would have worn this outfit without the down shirt, but I would have also consequently froze. Add in a thin, yet ultra-warm layer in between button down shirt and wool coat and we’re playing a whole new ballgame.

Other elements that I feel “make the look” are the bold striped shirt and half blue/ half black jeans. It’s all about the vertical stripes!

When I complain about how cold it is here, I guess I should remember how cold it is for you up there. Thanks for the reminder ;) Hope you kids have fun on your vacation!
