Whistler

Whistler is Vancouver’s backyard winter playground. A premier ski destination and of course, essential part of the recent Vancouver 2010 Olympics. I have many fond memories of skiing up at Whistler in winters past, but it’s actually been a few years since I have been up to Whistler – until now! Justine (Jetset Justine) and I took a little day trip up the mountain during our time on the west coast. It was her first time taking in the sights, so we took a stroll through the village and enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon at the Scandinave Spa, an experience that I highly recommend. Scandinavian baths offering hydrotherapy in a silent environment, tucked away in the mountains. What more could you ask for? Needless to say, we left refreshed and rejuvenated!
