Getting Fall-Ready with Ted Baker London + New Store Opening at Sherway Gardens

There’s something so elegant about classic British style and recently, I’ve found myself charmed by the sartorial sensibility. Perhaps it’s the fact that London Fashion Week is happening right now, or that the weather is slowly slipping into fall?

Speaking of the change in seasons, I’ve begun to start planning my fall/winter wardrobe. As much as I’m sad to say goodbye to my beloved summer, I have to admit that I’m quite excited for layered fall style and feeding my outerwear addiction.

To jump start my fall style transition, I’ve partnered with Ted Baker London to put together a look that not only satisfies my penchant for jackets and coats, but also captures the charm of traditional British style. Over the years, the brand has become known for creating a perfect balance between classic and playful, mixing traditional and contemporary influences, with an irreverent sense of humor and a quintessential British attitude. I personally love the brand for its use of colors, prints and patterns in a uniquely bold way.

This look began with the floral print shirt, which I paired with deep purple pants to pick up on the purple flowers in the print. Overtop, I chose a blue and navy check patterned, wool coat with a fur collar (talk about luxe, right?). I love analogous colors together, so the blue coat was a nice pairing for the purple tones. What do you guys think of the jewel tone palette for fall?

Now, as you begin to shop for your fall wardrobes too, I have some exciting news for my Toronto friends and visitors- Ted Baker London is opening its third Ontario location at Sherway Gardens tomorrow (September 22)! The new 2,632 square foot store will take on a theme, inspired by the beloved and long forgotten Sunnyside Amusement Park, which was a popular destination from the 1920’s to the 1950’s. To celebrate, from tomorrow until September 25, shoppers will enjoy a special gift with purchase along with giveaways inspired by the Sunnyside Amusement Park store design! Plus, complimentary refreshments and sweet treats will be served in store throughout the grand opening weekend. Better rearrange your schedules this week, because you won’t want to miss it!

Exciting news for Ted Baker. I can relate to the sartorial essence of London. It’s my personal style inspiration. Two words, Burberry Mens! With that being said, you nailed these shots! I wasn’t sure about the ensemble at first because my personal taste is very minimal. You are featuring quite the amount of color, prints and patterns in this post but you make it work especially with the gorgeous flowers in the background. It all compliments. The shoes are stellar, the coat is stellar, this post is fantastic. I’m getting more spring than fall. Don’t be surprised if you see something similar from me next year for the Spring season.

    Love it!
