This past week was Toronto Fashion Week and as usual, it was one wild whirlwind of fashion and style. There were some amazing runway shows by designers like Mackage, Maram and last season’s Mercedes-Benz Start Up winner, UNTTLD. There was also a fantastic scene of #TorontoStyle outside the fashion week tents.
One of my favorite parts of any fashion week is the street style. I love seeing all the outfits that everyone comes up with and admiring their creativity. To prepare my own fashion week looks, I partnered with CF Toronto Eaton Centre to pick out a few new pieces to update my wardrobe.
This look was predominantly made up of the new items I found during my shopping trip last weekend, starting with this amazing jacket from Zara. Getting into the nautical spirit for spring, this navy, double breasted jacket caught my eye. I love the gold buttons and the modern slim cut and fit.
At J.Crew, I picked up this grey and white striped T-shirt – perfect with the jacket and a versatile neutral for the spring/summer season. White bottoms of any kind are a spring must-have. So to give my look a bit more street appeal, I opted for a distressed, ripped pair of white jeans from H&M.
Finishing off the look with a bandana neck scarf and black leather chelsea boots, I was ready to take on a day of fashion week shows!
What I’m wearing: Zara jacket // J.Crew // H&M jeans // Ray-Ban sunglasses // Lanvin boots
