Toronto Men’s Fashion Week F/W 2016

This past week was all about menswear in Toronto, with the fall/winter 2016 runway shows at TOMFW (Toronto Men’s Fashion Week). I attended most of the shows and enjoyed seeing the high level of enthusiasm and support for the designers from all of the attendees.

It’s still pretty chilly here in Toronto, not to mention the snow storm we had last Wednesday, so I didn’t get to document all of my outfits during TOMFW. However, I did manage to capture the look shown here in this post, which features my new low-top Timberland boots from Town Shoes.

And speaking of, I’m excited to announce that I have partnered with Town Shoes as one of their official ambassadors for 2016! I can’t wait to share all of the latest and greatest in footwear news and trends with you this year and showcase the many amazing styles available at Town Shoes.

Starting with the boots to inspire my outfit, I went for a classic denim on denim look, topped off with my current favorite parka and accessorized with a pair of sunglasses from J.Crew’s newly launched sunglass collection.

See the photo story below + scroll down to see some of the noteworthy looks from the TOMFW runway.

What I’m wearing: Moose Knuckles parka // GUESS denim shirt // J.Crew jeans // J.Crew sunglasses // Timberland Adventure 2.0 boots

Here are a few of my favorite looks from the week:

Jaan Choxi showed a collection of downtown cool looks. The jackets were my favorite pieces, especially the metallic silver bomber.

The Finezza show featured sophisticated looks, that were classically dapper. Lots of tailored plaid pants and references to traditional English countryside and hunting style.

Closing out the week was Christopher Bates, whose show was absolutely the most highly anticipated show of the week, attracting a crowd of attendees that filled the room from wall to wall. His fall/winter 2016 collection was a cool mix of Western and biker influences, which of course was right up my alley.
