The French California

My T-shirt reads “The French California, Chill and Have Fun“… duly noted! Summer is the season of chilling and having fun and I’m all about it. I’m a West Coast boy living in an East Coast world, that’s for sure. If this look doesn’t scream it, I don’t know what does. We have denim on denim here by way of 2 items I DIY’d in summers past. Once a pair of jeans, the shorts were created with a simple chop, while the vest came about from a little more labor (cutting, shredding, bleaching etc).

In the accessory department, I’m excited to share this cap from Qilo, a cool NYC-based headwear brand that was founded on the principle of Lao Tzu’s proverb: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step.” (talk about some food for thought!). The camp style cap is perfect for summer – how cool is the fern print?

Something new for this outfit post is a highlight on the underwear I’m wearing. I recently received a couple new pairs of underwear from French brand, Pull-In. They specialize in high end underwear and swimwear and after trying out a pair of their boxer briefs I’m definitely impressed! The fit and comfort is there and they have some really cool patterns and color ways available. Building on comfort and design, Pull-In has also branched out into apparel, like the T-shirt I’m wearing here!
