Staying Connected On-the-Go with TAG Heuer

It’s been a long wait, but it looks like spring is finally here! Welcoming the warming temperatures, I’m happily packing away my winter coats and trading them over for lighter layers. A change in seasons is always a good time to give yourself a style check up, update your look and also refresh your routine.

During the winter, I got into a mini routine that allowed me to spend as little time outside as possible. Don’t get me wrong, I actually love being outside, but just when it’s warm! So now that it’s spring, I’m switching up my routine. I’m getting out more and walking outside to get to where I need to be. While on the move out in the real world, I still like to stay connected with the digital world. This past week, I’ve been testing out the new TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 smartwatch, upgrading my routine for a fresh start to the season.

Throughout the day, I have multiple alarms for various tasks, appointments and events. I typically use the alarm on my phone, but that can often be disruptive when I’m using my phone to work, like while editing photos or updating my social media accounts. Having alarms and reminders on another device that seamlessly integrates into my existing accessory range has been more helpful than I would have thought. The TAG Heuer Connected also has a fully synced copy of my Google calendar and contacts. So even when I’m on a call, I can easily access information and see my schedule, without having to navigate through different windows on my phone.

Using its NFC chip and Android PayTM app, the TAG Heuer Connected has also become a super efficient mode of contactless payment at enabled points of sale. I love how easy it is and I don’t even have to take out my wallet or phone.

Two additional features on the TAG Heuer Connected that I haven’t used yet, but am excited to try are: Google Assistant and the built-in GPS. The watch is fitted with a small built-in microphone, enabling you to communicate with it using Google Assistant. While the GPS tracks your daily journeys and sporting performance.

With 4 GB of storage memory and a latest-generation lithium battery, the TAG Heuer Connected is more than capable of getting me through a full (busy!) day of activities. Not to mention that the watch is physically a beautiful timepiece to wear on my wrist. It’s luxuriously crafted, like any other TAG Heuer watch, combining connectivity with classic Swiss-made quality. Smartwatch owners often fancy changing out the style of their devices so look at sites like Mobile Mob for replacement straps and bands. The OLED screen offers incredible resolution and amazing colors, which vividly display 30 different watch dial options, which you can change with the swipe of a finger. Perfect for coordinating with outfits! Different day, different dial. You can even customize the dial to create your own unique look.
