NYFW Spring 2016 – Day 5 + How To Dress Up Overalls

nyfw alexander liang

I’ve worn overalls on a few occasions this year and every time I do, I get a lot of people telling me that they love the look, but don’t know if they could pull it off. Until this year, I actually didn’t own any overalls, but I had been wanting to try the look for quite some time after spotting overalls in a number of men’s street style images. Anyway, I now have 2 pairs and they’re great! Easy to wear, comfortable and you can actually dress them up or down, just like a pair of jeans.

On my final day of New York Fashion Week, I brought this pair of distressed overalls out, dressing them up a bit with a crisp white, button-down shirt and a pair of Italian canvas, derby shoes.

So, what do you think of overalls? Have you worn them?

What I’m wearing:
Imperial Overalls (similar here) // Express shirt // Walk-Over shoes (similar here) // Tom Ford Sunglasses // Hermès cuff // Bulova watch // Miansai bracelet
