Fort Langley

While I was out west, I spent a day in Fort Langley with Justine and one of my long time friends, Erin and her daughter (who is the cutest!). Fort Langley is located south of the City of Vancouver, and is home to the Fort Langley National Historic Site, a former fur trade post of the Hudson’s Bay Company. Today, Fort Langley is quaint little town that offers unique shops, cute cafes and some great vintage finds. There’s also a beautiful walking path along the Fraser River, which we ventured out on during our day there.

Upon arrival, we started with lunch at Wendel’s Bookstore & Cafe, where we enjoyed delicious panini sandwiches.

After lunch, we took a stroll along the river, stopping to take photos in the little outlook piers:

It was such a mild and peaceful day. The water looked like glass!

And we had to take some photos at the old train station, of course:

Canadian tuxedos just seem all that more appropriate when in Canada ;) I need to start including some of the places that I’m at before/during/after blog shoots. Thanks for that idea!
