Wow, can you believe it’s already Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend?! This year is flying by so fast. This fall has been beautiful so far and dressing for the season has been really quite enjoyable- definitely something to be thankful for this weekend!
Each fall, I always find myself gravitating towards earth tones when putting my outfits together. Thanksgiving is especially the time to don your best earth-toned looks, as we celebrate the harvest and the final bounty of the season before the winter moves in.
This weekend, I’ll be wearing a variation of this outfit, which I limited to two colors: olive green and burgundy. I love these two colors during the fall months especially. I’m going to be staying in the city for the Thanksgiving weekend, so I gave my look a more downtown vibe versus out in the countryside (I’ll save that look for another post!). To complete my outfit, I’m wearing a new pair of Town Shoes Chelsea boots.
Chelsea boots are an absolute style staple for the fall/winter season. This version of the classic, from Town Shoes’ in house collection is easily dressed up or down, with its black leather upper and brown sole. This pair also features a nice tread on the bottom, so they’ll be great even in the less pleasant winter weather to come.
