What a glorious week it has been! Real summer heat hit the streets of Toronto and there have hardly been any clouds in the sky for days. My family was in town this weekend and to prepare for their visit, I made a trip to St. Lawrence Market to stock up the kitchen. There are always so many delicious fine foods and fresh, ripe produce to be found at the market. Especially dangerous if you arrive there hungry.
My outfit that day was a casual mix of military and beach inspired vibes. Vintage camo shirt over a plain white tee, light wash jeans and a pair of Soludos from Town Shoes, which have already taken a spot in regular rotation this summer. Espadrilles are the perfect summer shoe; lightweight and beachy, but still appropriate for the city streets. I love the embroidered sharks on this particular Soludos style and got many compliments on them while walking through the market that afternoon.
The trip to the market was quite a success, as I left with a large selection of berries, fresh breads, cheeses and more. Check out more photos of my outfit below, plus a few shots of the market too!
P.S. Post a shoefie on Instagram, at your favourite farmer’s market and tag “#TrendingTown @townshoes” and something good might come your way!
What I’m wearing: Vintage camo shirt (similar at ASOS) // Gap T-shirt // H&M jeans (similar here and here) // Tom Ford sunglasses // Hermès cuff // Shore Projects watch // Soludos shoes from Town Shoes
